Throwback Thursday to my recent visit to The Gemological Institute of America. From my first days as a Jewelry Design and Gemology student to today as an Alum, I'm truly inspired every time I visit GIA. This last trip, I admired the famous and beautiful Bahia Rutilated Quartz that is over 4 feet and hangs from the ceiling with natural light reflecting off it's natural inclusions. I also viewed the "Dreams of Diamonds" Photography Book featuring one of a kind jewelry pieces from the top Diamond Houses. What a great day!
